Nagged in Nags Head

Well it is all starting to become real. The leadership team fro NC2SD assembled in Nags Head on Tuesday after we all drove from Raleigh. Got some good bonding in, and worked on some of the orientation details before Brendan got in. The weather has been a bit stormy but it should get better by Sunday when we set off. Van has been inventoried and cleaned out and the riders show up tomorrow afternoon.

In the past few days we have done really well with in-kind donations. Give a shout out to Home Depot for hooking us up with paint for the trailer, Bruegger's Bagels near NC State for giving us 4 dozen of their day olds, Whole Foods also near NC State for $50 in gift cards, and last but not least Pigman's BBQ in Nags Head for a great lunch yesterday with some of the best hush puppies I have ever had.

Don't forget that just because I am starting riding doesn't mean that donations have to end. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.....and more importantly if any one knows of restaurants along our route that would be willing to donate please let me know!
